A Good News to All Newspaper & magazine Publishers

Dear Publishers,

Like other developing sectors and industries newspapers too faced numerous complicated and tough problems after independence. A news paper is established in the interest of masses. The foremost motive of the publisher is to raise issues of public; but in this tiring process of bringing up public voice a publisher finds his own getting suppressed. 

It is true especially for the publishers who are novice in the field and circulation of their newspaper is not large either. They are always assessed for their reputation and circulation instead of work. But, work is the same whether a news paper publishes single copy or tens of thousands. There is no change in the outlook and purpose of the publisher, then why is there a bias against publishers or newspapers with comparatively lower circulation.

The biggest hurdle before newspaper publishers is economical. Only source of earning for a newspaper is advertisements. But, the parameters of giving government ads is such that to fulfill them it’s imperative to earn goodwill of concerned officers or there is no other way than to play with circulation figures.

On the other hand, at times publisher don’t get respect in his own community because of rank and file. Publisher faces all the slur and obstruction alone because they are working in different units. While, they are at ease while talking of civic welfare, they do get uneasy when it comes to their own issues; and they don’t even have a platform to raise their own voice.

Today, there is a kind of encouragement for job generating businesses and establishments dedicated to social well-being. But, catastrophe with newspapers is that in spite of being a kind of social organization neither do they get government or non-government boosting nor any monetary aid. Even if they manage to get some corporate help question marks are raised about their compatibility to voice issues of social good.

The aid given by government in the form of advertisements proves to be a tall tale. But, the irony is such that there are double parameters even in that.

Why LIPA?

Till struggling newspapers are given due weight they will keep fighting to salvage their foundation which will take away fairly good proportion of their energy.

This is why ‘Lead India Publishers Association’ (LIPA) has been instituted to bring them together over a single platform. It’s a non-government organization with the goal of uniting publishers on one stage.

'Lead India Publishers Association' (LIPA) is a visionary effort of “Lead India Group”. Lead India Group was studying the subject for the few months. After complete study and research, I communicated with other publishers for their views and problems in my capacity as the founder and publisher of “Lead India Group’’. After all these we took the decision of founding ‘Lead India Publishers Association’.

The aim of LIPA:

The aim of LIPA is to solve the problems of publishers and help them grow. LIPA wishes to bring together the publishers of various newspapers and magazines who are working as multiple units. The very purpose of it all is their voice being heard when they raise an issue.

Works of LIPA:

Lead India Publishers Association is determined to make available every possible help to publishers of numerous newspapers and magazines. To achieve it Lead India Publishers Association will provide below mentioned aids to help publishers tackle their basic issues.

• Technical assistance:

One can’t part away with technology in this age of communication revolution. But, it is not possible for every publication to have every technical information. At times a very minute technical error affects the publication work in a major way. So, LIPA will provide every possible assistance in tackling the technical problems (computer related) faced during bringing out newspapers. These helps will be given through remote assistance.

• Documentary assistance:

Pre-established and consistently toughening government laws are turning out to be the biggest hurdles in the way of news publishers. Lead India Publishers association will always be ready to provide every possible documentary information and help in this regard.

• Consultancy:

At times news publishers do lose advertisements or other benefits due to lack of information. Thus, LIPA will provide timely information to all its members.

• Audit assistance:

Many problems come forth at the time of annual return and audit of the newspaper. LIPA will provide the services of a chartered accountant at lowest of the prices. So that, all kind of monetary advice can be achieved in time and related papers get completed by time.

• Assistance in office space:

‘Lead India Publishers Group’ is working over a project of building a grand building in Delhi. LIPA members will be allotted chambers in this building.

• Assistant in advertisement and Marketing:

Lead India Publishers association (LIPA) has clear plan generate sources to collect advertisement on regular basis for its member’s publications.

My awesome village Kumar

My awesome village Kumar is situated in Tehshil Sikandra of District Jamui of Bihar (India). It is 3 km from Sikandra. Sikandra is a small town, situated on Jamui- Nawada state highway. It is famous for Jain and Netula Temple. About my village, though it is associated with jain historical event; however it is unique in many ways. It is important for me because my lots of memories are associated with my village.

This is a big village with 500-600 houses, which includes the 400 houses of Bhumihar and 50 houses of Brahmans and 150 houses from the lower castes. It is big village; it is unique in its structure. Here everybody is dependable on each other. Most of the lands are owned by the Bhumihar, approximately about 80%. It is difficult for them to manage all the lands. Therefore they take the help of people from lower caste. This is the main resources of earning for the people of lower caste. Brahmans are wondering caste of Bihar. They mainly worship in temples.

In this unique way all castes are totally dependable on each other. Nobody can survive without the help of others. In my village KUMAR a big temple of Maa Netula from past time. This temple keeps a long past history that is related to Maa Durga. Bramhan always worship in the temple of Maa Netula. Brahmans of my village is well- known in vedamantra. Brahmans worship with Yajman as his profession or tradition with the Bhumihar and others. Brahmans even provide Jantra, Mantra and kundli.

Second unique thing about my village is its water system. This area is prone for water shortage. But the elders of village have very wisely constructed a small canal from a place 3 km away from village to the village. This canal includes many small bridges made to avoid the contamination of water. Kullu Ghat will be well source of water in future.

Due to this canal our village has not seen any water shortage in past. Third is the calm environment of my village. This calmness is like a meditation. One can hear the voice of following river water from two km away. People talks from kilometers away can be easily heard here.

 In cities, we will never get this opportunity. In every part of village, one can hear nature talking to him and enjoy lots of miracles of nature. I invite people to explore the beauty of my village and Bihar. You will really remember this for your life.

उसका आलराउण्ड अस्पेक्ट हो, डाइमेन्शन उसका राउण्ड हो। कहीं से भी वो पूरी तरह से सिर्फ हीरो न दिखाई दे या सिर्फ विलैन न दिखाई दे। एक ग्रे शेड उसमें हमेशा रहे, उसकी गुंज़ाइश रहे और एक अच्छी स्क्रिप्ट का हिस्सा हो। मनोज जी! फिल्मों से थोड़ा हट कर हम नाटक की तरफ आते हैं, नाटक और फिल्मों के बीच एक कलाकार के तौर पर आप क्या अंतर पाते हैं? मेरे हिसाब से कभी कोई फ़र्क़ नहीं रहा है क्योंकि मैंने जिस समय नाटक किया, उसका साइंटिफिकली काफी विकास हो चुका था। आजकल के नाटक उस हिन्दी शब्द 'नाटकीय' से अलग हो चुके हैं। कहीं न कहीं बहुत जीवन्त होते हैं, रियलिज्म के बहुत करीब होते हैं। फिर भी मनोज जी, ऐसा नहीं लगता कि नाटक को वो स्थान नहीं मिल पाया जो उसे मिलना चाहिये. रंगमंच का क्या भविष्य है? रंगमंच का भविष्य अभी हाल-फिलहाल तो जैसा है वैसा ही रहेगा। न उसको कोई सपोर्ट है, न उसको देखने वाले हैं। जिस तरह से टेलिविजन का विस्तार हुआ है, उससे मिडिल क्लास ने तो घर से निकलना ही बंद कर दिया है। थियेटर कुछ एक चुनिंदा लोगों के शौक़ के कारण ज़िंदा थी और ज़िंदा रहेगी। आपके अनुसार नाटक का पतन हो रहा है या ये जीवित रहेगा? जीवित रहेगा. थियेटर कभी भी खत्म नहीं हो सकता। जिस समय से इंसान पैदा हुआ है तब से थियेटर है और हमेशा रहेगा। लेकिन हाल-फिलहाल में उसका भविष्य यदि कहें कि ब्राडवे की तरह हो जायेगा या फिर ये कहें कि वो लंदन के थियेटर की तरह से हो जायेगा या पेरिस के थियेटर की तरह से हो जायेगा; तो ये कहना अभी मुश्किल है। दिल्ली थियेटर से आप कभी लंबे समय तक जुड़े रहे हैं. आपका इसके संदर्भ में क्या विचार है? दिल्ली थियेटर मेरे हिसाब से काफी प्रोग्रैसिव थियेटर सर्कल है लेकिन दुख इस बात का है कि वहाँ पे उसे दर्शक नहीं मिल पाते हैं। जन-नाट्य मंच से जुडे आपके अनुभव? जननाट्यमंच से मैं अधिक तो नही जुडा रहा लेकिन कुछ एक नुक्कड नाटक मैने किये हैं। हाँ सफदर हाशमी से मेरी मित्रता थी, जिनकी हत्या भी हो गयी थी। नुक्कड नाटक अभिनेता को दर्शकों से सीधे जोडता है यह अनुभव मैने उस समय किया। दिल्ली रंगमंच पर आपका एक नाटक “नेटुआ” काफी प्रसिद्ध हुआ था। ये भी सुनने में आया था कि आप इस पर एक फिल्म भी करने वाले हैं। क्या ये सच है? यह मेरी योजना अवश्य थी किंतु अब मैने इस योजना को ठंडे बस्ते में डाल दिया है। यह बहुत अच्छा नाटक है और अब कोई नया कलाकार ही इसे करेगा। फिल्म और साहित्य के बीच आप कैसा संबंध पाते हैं, दोनों के बीच पैदा होती दूरी के लिये किसे जिम्मेदार ठहरायेंगे? फिल्म और साहित्य के बीच आज दूरी आ गयी है, ऐसा होना नहीं चाहिये। इस दूरी के लिये फिल्मकारों को ही दोषी ठहराना होगा। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है कि अच्छे साहित्य पर फिल्में बनायी गयी तो वे चलेंगी नहीं या लोग उसे पसंद नहीं करेंगे। क्या साहित्यिक पृष्ठभूमि पर आज भी अच्छी और सफल व्यावसायिक फिल्म  बनायी जा सकती है? बिलकुल बनायी जा सकती हैं और हाल फिलहाल तक बनती भी रही हैं। मैं अपनी फिल्म पिंजर का जिक्र करना चाहूँगा जो कि एक प्रसिद्ध उपन्यास पर बनी है और अपनी पटकथा के कारण दर्शकों के द्वारा भी बहुत सराही गयी। साहित्य और सिनेमा को किसी भी तरह से अलग कर के नहीं देखा जा सकता। अच्छे साहित्य पर बनने बाली फिल्मों को दर्शकों की प्रशंसा अवश्य मिलेगी। आपने बैरी जॉन के मार्गदर्शन में स्ट्रीट चिल्ड्रेन के साथ काफी काम किया है।  उन बच्चों के साथ गुजारे गये लम्हों ने आपको बेहतर अभिनेता और बेहतर इंसान  बनने में कितनी मदद मिली। हाँ मैं इन पलों को अपने जीवन के श्रेष्ठतम क्षणों में रखता हूँ। यह सही है कि इन क्षणों ने मनोज बाजपेयी को निश्चित तौर पर बेहतर इंसान बनने में मदद की। कुछ मित्रों के प्रोत्साहन से मैंने भी अपना ब्लॉग बना लिया और अब जितना भी समय मिलता है, इस माध्यम से अपने चाहने वालों से रूबरू होने की कोशिश करता रहता हूँ। यह अच्छा माध्यम है। जहाँ लोग एक अभिनेता से इतर मनोज के व्यक्तित्व को या उसके जीवन के दूसरे पहलू से परिचित हो सकते हैं। यहाँ मैं उन विषयों पर भी बात कर सकता हूँ जो मैं सोचता रहता हूँ या मेरे भीतर विचार की तरह हैं। ब्लॉगिंग का सुनहरा भविष्य है तथा यह एक अच्छा माध्यम है अपने विचारों को सीधे पहुँचा सकने का। मुझे ब्लॉगिंग में आनंद आ रहा है। आप एक ब्लॉगर भी हैं .. हिन्दी में ब्लॉग लिखने वाले आप पहले सेलीब्रिटी हैं।  आपको ब्लॉग बनाने की प्रेरणा कैसे मिली और आपके विचार से ब्लॉगिंग  का भविष्य क्या है ? जी आपकी खबर बुलकुल सच है बल्कि यह कार्य मैंनें अधिंकांश कर भी लिया है। राम के चरित्र को आवाज देते हुए मैने यह ध्यान रखने की कोशिश की कि मेरी आवाज राम जैसे महान चरित्र के अनुकूल हो सके। यह भिन्न तरह का अनुभव था जो मेरे सामान्य कार्य करने के तरीके और प्रकार से बिलकुल ही भिन्न था। हाल में मुम्बई पर हुए आतंकी हमले पर आप क्या कहना चाहेंगे? आपने अपने  ब्लॉग पर भी इस विषय पर चर्चा की है। अब तो इस विषय पर राजनीति भी आरंभ हो गयी है। मुम्बई पर हुए आतंकवादी हमलों की कडी आलोचना होनी चाहिये। लोगों की प्रतिक्रियायें जो आ रही हैं वह जायज हैं। भारत पर इस तरह का हमला करवाने वालों को पता चलना चाहिये कि हम कोई कमजोर मुल्क नहीं है। इस हमले में मारे गये सभी शहीदों और निर्दोश नागरिकों को मेरी श्रद्धांजलि है। एसी घटनायें नहीं होनी चाहिये। मुम्बई पर हुए आतंकवादी हमलों की कडी आलोचना होनी चाहिये। लोगों की प्रतिक्रियायें जो आ रही हैं वह जायज हैं। भारत पर इस तरह का हमला करवाने वालों को पता चलना चाहिये कि हम कोई कमजोर मुल्क नहीं है। इस हमले में मारे गये सभी शहीदों और निर्दोश नागरिकों को मेरी श्रद्धांजलि है। एसी घटनायें नहीं होनी चाहिये। राजनीति को आज या कल तो आरंभ होना ही था। यह राजनेताओं का काम है, लेकिन नेताओं को भी दोष दे कर क्या होगा? अब लोगों को समझने की बारी है,पाकिस्तान की जनता को भी समझना होगा इस राजनीति को। मेरा अपना मानना है कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जितना दबाव बना सकते हैं, पाकिस्तान पर, वो बनाया जाए ताकि पाक में जो भी आतंकी ट्रैनिंग कैंप है, वो खत्म हो।
